Deb Graceffa

Deb Graceffa co-founded Gargalicana/Graceffa LLP in 2005. She specializes in general civil litigation, and with an emphasis on real estate and business litigation. In addition to litigation, mind she advises on transactional matters including real estate transactions and business entity formation. She is also a mediator who resolves disputes between parties in the both the pre-litigation and litigation stages.

Deb is a member of the Real Property Section of both the State Bar of California and the Alameda County Bar Association. Deb has also maintained an active real estate license with the California Department of Real Estate since 2003 and has been a member of the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors. She is a regular lecturer to Bay Area real estate brokerages and organizations where she provides advice on best practices and current trends in the law for real estate professionals.

Deb is a certified mediator and works with the Congress of Neutrals mediating disputes through the Contra Costa County Superior Court. She has also acted as the Vice Chair of the Lawyer Referral Service Governing Committee of the Alameda County Bar Association and as a Fee Arbitrator with the Bar Association. As a Fee Arbitrator, view she arbitrated disputes between attorneys and their clients over fees and rendered binding decisions.

Deb holds a Bachelors of Art in Sociology from Mills College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco where she was a three year recipient of the Faculty Scholarship Award. She has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star multiple years in a row.

When not practicing law, she plays on a women’s ice hockey team that travels nationally and internationally to compete in tournaments.
